Where are you from originally?
- Fairfax, Virginia
What inspired you to become a dental assistant?
- Any job I’ve had has always been kid friendly related, I connect with kids and love helping them in any way I can.
How long have you been in the dental field?
- A little over 2 years.
Where did you receive your training or certification?
- I was trained on the job.
What types of dental practices or specialties have you worked in?
- General and Pediatric
What do you enjoy most about being a dental assistant?
- Being able to get x-rays and a prophy cleaning done on a 2 year old and also building trust with a child who is fearful of going to the dentist.
What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
- I enjoy thrifting, shopping at asian gift shops or hunting for pokemon cards during the weekends. I’m a huge foodie, you can find me at a korean bakery cafe or at a taco truck eating some tacos de lengua.
Do you have any fun facts or hidden talents?
- I’m blessed to be part of my church’s spanish choir, I’m happily married and I have a Yorkshire mixed poodle named Pearl.
What do you enjoy most about working with patients?
- Being able to see the excitement they have when they come to see us to clean their teeth, it’s simply rewarding.
What’s your favorite part of the day at the office?
- Restocking and organizing hands down! Keeps my mind at peace.
